WELCOME
We are the Clarington Fire Fighters Association, International Association of Fire Fighters Local 3139 consisting of 54 members and also known as Clarington Emergency and Fire Services with our headquarters in Bowmanville, Ontario. We serve the residents of the Municipality of Clarington which is located 50 kilometers (30 miles) east of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. For more details.
Clarington Emergency and Fire Services is a composite department with 5 fire stations and approximatly 120 part-time paid Fire Fighters.Two stations (Headquarters - Bowmanville, Courtice) operate 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. The remaining stations (in Enniskillen, Newcastle and Orono) operate with part-time (volunteer) Fire Fighters on a call-in basis. The Fire Fighters respond to more than 2,600 incidents per year in a response area of 230 square miles.
Clarington Fire Fighters Association is proudly affiliated with the International Association of Fire Fighters and the Ontario Professional Fire Fighters Association.
